Uh oh, it's already starting! Yes, that age of star-dazzled eyes and requests of, When is she coming back? He has it bad. and she is 6x his age! Nathaniel is in love...with this girl.
I'd like you to meet Yessenia. She is a sweet and fun-loving girl. She is the niece of the last housekeeper and actually lives out in the countryside, about a 2 hr ride. She comes in on Friday to go to school all day on Saturday, and then heads back home Sat. night. She has been helping us with the laundry for a few months now.
Her catching smile has endeared the boys to her...especially Nathaniel. She stays over on Friday nights, and Nathaniel has decided that he wants to sleep with her. Having 12 brothers and sisters, she is used to sharing a bed, so she doesn't mind at all.
This is so unusual for him. He is in the stage of not really enjoying people and generally wants to be left alone. But he has it BAD. We are really blessed to know her. She has been learning how to make and decorate cakes, as well as other desserts. Besides that, we have a lot of fun together. She isn't a Christian, but I hope to work on that :) Please pray for these last 5 months we have together, that we could be witnesses of Christ's love and peace to her.

It's great to see pictures of the boys...Sebastian has changed a lot since we last saw him! Thanks for the comment on the party. It was a crazy day, to say the least. I think we're just now recovered from the exhaustion. :-) There were several ladies from church who came with their daughters/nieces, and they just took over the food distribution...it was wonderful to have their help. It was cool to feel cared for by our church. Hope you're doing well. We'll be in touch.
